■國際財務管理International Financial Management (3 credits)
This course focuses on the financial management of multinational corporations. Multinational corporations engage in some form of international business. Their managers conduct international financial management involving international investing and financing decisions that are intended to maximize the firm value. This course describes the issues faced by financial managers of multinational corporation, such as foreign currency, exchange rate, cash flows from parent company and subsidiary, and currency derivatives.
■作業管理 Operations Management (3credits)
This course is designed to acquaint the student with the area of operations management, one of the essential functions for any enterprise. This is an overview course in operations management where students will be exposed to the different tools used by upper management, in both the service sector as well as the manufacturing sector, to improve the decision making process. Topics include: productivity, strategy, decision making, quality improvement, work measurement, project management; and product, process, capacity, and layout decisions.
