國際企業經營策略 MANAGEMENT STRATEGY OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS (3 credits)
This course is designed to acquaint the student with the knowledge of strategic management, one of the essential functions for the enterprise. The course will introduce key concepts, tools, and principles of strategy formulation and competitive analysis. It focuses on managerial decisions and actions that affect business performance and survival. The course focuses on information, analysis, organizational processes and skills, as well as the skills and business judgment managers must use to plan strategies, position their business, define corporate boundaries and maximize long-term profits in the face of uncertainty and competition. Topics include: Strategic Leadership, External Analysis, Internal Analysis, Functional-Level Strategies, Business-Level Strategy, Industry Environment, Strategy and Technology, Strategy in the Global Environment, Horizontal Integration, Vertical Integration, Strategic Outsourcing, Related and Unrelated Diversification, Corporate Governance, Social Responsibility and Ethics.
