課程大綱：
Everyone can shoot video these days, but do you know how to make a professional-looking video that people will actually want to watch? Course Instructor and professional documentary videographer Tobie Openshaw will share with you his personal experiences and help you make compelling videos to share with family and friends.
You don’t need any experience, but you should have a camera that can shoot video (camcorder or DSLR) and a computer that can edit video. The course will focus not so much on technical things, but more on how to structure a video to tell a good story.
Part 1: Planning your video:
• Researching your topic
• Writing an outline/storyboard
• Planning your shooting
Part 2: Production:
• Shooting video:
1. Basic Camera techniques and lighting
2. Interview techniques
3. Working with audio
• Organizing your material
Part 3: Post-production
• Basic Video Editing
• Adding music & titles
• Uploading to YouTube
Course participants will be divided into small groups, and each group will produce a short documentary-style video by the end of the course.
